My name is Hector Horta and my life partner Coral Encarnacion, are the founders of Pirate Snorkeling Shack. Pirate Snorkeling Shack is a young, dynamic, explorer and adventurer in love with the natural beauty of Puerto Rico. Founded in 2013, Pirate Snorkeling Shack is dedicated to exploring, discovering and preserving natural areas in Las Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve, Ensenada Yegua, Fajardo Puerto Rico.

Located 50 minutes from the capital, San Juan, it has calm and warm waters, beautiful sands, coral reef and seagrass. Beautiful beach make this a special place for kayaking and snorkeling. Pirate Snorkeling shack is committed to conserving the environment. We believe in preserving the beauty that nature gave us, future generations can enjoy the melody of the ocean, enjoying those wonderful colors moving of planet.
We actively participate: International Coastal Cleanup Day, Water Safety Workshops, Recycling Program, among others
We have also created a program called, Explore, Discover and Preserves. This program students can participate in interpretation where adventure safe, informative and innovative way is encouraged on the conservation of natural beauty.
